easiest and cheapest way is to put lowering blocks on the back and slide the tubes up in the trees up front. Total cost about $80 for the lowering blocks - that way you can see if she likes it before you spend the $$$ on doing it properly which will entail new rear shocks and a lowering kit up front....you can get away with just doing the back but it will effect handling (not in a good way)

1/2 inch shorter shock on the back will give you about 1 inch lower.

You can swap out the stock seat for a bare bones, that would lower her about 1 1/2".

Progressive's new 2" "drop in" lowering kit for the forks works REALLY well, probably the best suspension mod bang for the buck I've done in years.

I dropped the front 1-1/2", also have Ricor Intiminators and 12.1" Ohlins in back. The Ricors and Ohlins work great but dropping the front put the much needed weight on the front. The Progressive springs in this kit are way better than my starting-to-sack stock springs. With stock height, the front would really start to lift under heavy accelleration. With the front lowered, the bike stays planted at all speeds.

Default Lowering

I used Progressive ( model 412 I think) 11" shocks. They lowered the rear quite a bit.
