Your headlight's reflector bowl has the final say, in how that bright light is projected forward.

+1 one on that. Mine was lighting up the 2nd story of my neighbors houses. Adjusted and low and behold I have a beam on the ground.

I've got the Sylvania SilverStar in my bike and both of my quads. Much better than stock but not an HID. If you do get them be sure and ask for the H4ST. Thats made just for motorcycles. Soposed to be made a little tougher for all the vibration and bumps. It says on the right hand side FOR MOTORCYCLE USE ONLY. Got mine at Auto Zone.

Good to know! Didn't know they had different ones. I got the regular car ones in mine I think, but they are still ticking and now I know what to look for next time.

Doesn't the Fat Boy have a larger headlight then the Street Bob, diameter wise?

I've got the PIAA Super Bright and it has lasted well.

Got a Bright "****-Me-Off" bluish tint. Puts out 100 watts at only 55 watts power.

Here's a link, but they are pricey $$. Personally, worth the money to me.
