OK, I am trying to slip off the stock mufflers and they are not slipping off so I can slip on the others I have been wiggling and pulling for 30 minutes and they barely budge. Any suggestions. This is an 09 Superglide

You can try spraying some pb blaster or other penetrating oil around the area. But keep pulling they'll come off sometimes they just want too be difficult.

As mentioned, they don't come off easily. Make sure the clamps are really loose so you can flex the joint back and forth while pulling. When you put the new mufflers on make sure they are pushed on as far as they can go.

I put on a set of SE slip ons for a 2006 on my 2009 FXDC. baffles are removable without rivets and I slightly modified them to, hopefully, increase the flow. I didn't notice any significant increase in sound from stock, which is okay by me. After putting on the SE air cleaner and remap there was a significant performance increase, very noticable when two up. According to Harley's dyno chart there is only about a 10% increase in HP and TQ but it was worth the money. $170, with shipping, for the SE slip ons and $300 for the air filter, installation, and remap.

Default Got It

Well after 30 minutes of grunting, cursing, wiggling and pulling the old mufflers came off and the new slip-ons went on. I am now at a standstill because the torx I need to remove the electrical box is at work not home. I am upgrading to the V&H fuelpak. I will post photos when complete.
