Default Parts installed Finally

I'v had these around for a bit, finally got to installing them.

Sideshots, night train upper rocker box, black levers, and the points cover.

For anyone that need to know, the fuel line is part # 62349-04F
And of course no one had it in stock. Wouldn't matter if I hadn't snapped it off

I searched here and found part 63020-04 the chrome stainless braided for 04-05 and I installed that as i wanted to ride today!!

It worked seems fine, so anyone looking for a chrome-braided fuel line for a late model have at it. It did seem about 1/8 inch shorter, and the clear coat over the braid didn't cover completely, but Im rolling.

not to mention its 39.99 instead of 43.99 a rrip off for a fuel line if you ask me....

anyway, I like the overall look so i thought id throw up some pics...

Looking good! Thanks for the heads up on the fuel line! I was looking to get one but never found one made for the 07's.

Very nice. Those side shots look really good on your scoot. Was it hard installing those upper rocker box covers? I've been wanting to do this for a LOOOOOOOOOONG time now and just keep putting it off. Where'd did you buy them at?

Top rocker boxes were a piece of cake, only issue i had was trying to find the correct torque spec, as the service manual lists the specks with the dogbone, and i don't have one.

I was so pissed about the gas line, i barely lifted the back of the tank, and it snapped right off, that's the only hard part about the swap.

If i disconnected it first (like I should Have) its a 30 min job with some beers.

it was easy to get a wrench on all bolts not so easy to get on the torque wrench, now i see why they call for the dog bone adapter...

I got them off ebay, 40 bucks shipped with the gaskets, couldn't pass them up.

I never decided if i wanted upper and lower, but I really like just the uppers..

Now for the battery band, chrome or black? any thoughts?

By the way schaffers didn't have either in stock, classic in reading had the older part number, but wouldn't guarantee fitment.

So if your going to get one, make sure they have it...

Thanks, I'll have to talk to Schaeffers about it and see if they can get me one. I think you could go either way on the battery band. But a little chrome wouldn't hurt!
