Question Anyone have the Dyna Touring Seat# 51472-06 with a backrest?
Bought this Dyna Touring Seat today, # 51472-06. The passenger section is really wide and long, and I can't mount the detachable side plates for the sissy bar with this new seat. Anyone have a backrest with this touring seat? What sideplates are you using?

My bike is an '07 FXDB

It will, if you slide front part of det. plates under sides of seat to front post, or take seat, mount plates, and mount seat.

I have the Touring seat on my '06 Wide. Bike has the rigid side plate kit 53020-06, and I've had everything from the mini to tall sissybars on it. Here's a days-old pic with the mini...

It's a tight fit but it will go. I just get the plates down low in the back and work it forward until it's in place.
