I like it more without the guard off.. and check is in the mail ...

Much better without. With it on it looks like you ran over some monkey bars on a kid's playground.

It looks better but if I had a crash bar on mine last week, I would have avoided this:

Goes without saying. Safety counts though I like my saddlebags off but a freinds bike toppled onto mine today and his brake lever rested on the bag No damage .Without that it could have been my caliper, brakeline or some paint. I don't have a crashbar though I know I'm playing the odds right?
