Same problem with my feet slipping off the forwards at higher speeds (70+ mph). I'd just rest my heels on the pegs to keep the feet from slipping. I only have 32" inseam and still can do that. Good luck.

What really made a difference for me was the stirrups. They give lot's more support and let you move your foot position around quite a bit.

Hope you find a setup that works for you.
can I use the original to move the pegs to mid since I am only 5'2

If u are use to forwards mids seem cramped for a couple miles , but I would never put forwards on the Fxr , it's just like when I ride the Fxr for long period's and jump back on the wide glide it takes a stronger arm to maneuver for a couple miles then it's like butter throw it around like a rag doll. Funny when some guys test ride a different model and it sucks no good but when they buy a different model it's the greatest thing on the road !! Just have to get used to it, like an old boot!

But I do use the highway bars to stretch on the Fxr , and I see were some with forwards put mid pegs, maybe that's the ticket
