Jb,
Did mine without taking the rear mudguard off. A bit of a squeeze, but can be done.
The higher you mount the number plate, the more road grime you get on your back during wet weather.

Got my light installed. Piece of cake. Definately a huge help having an extra set of hands to help. Thanks for the advice.

All finished up with mods for now. Time to ride!!
