Looks great. Nicely done.

I have to ask, wouldn't it make sense to dye the leather prior to sewing? Or am I missing the logic?

Depends on how hard you want to make it. Raw leather is easier to work with

Fan-freakin-tastic!! One of the best original mods I have seen on here....giving me some ideas for making some fiberglass hard bags....Seriously badass dude.

My thoughts exactly. I've watched them build speaker enclosures like Joe described but never thought of doing bags that way. Thanks Joe, another potential project.
