Default Shocking question

Hi All,
Please could someone answer this for me, are Street bob rear shocks shorter than Superglide custom rear shocks ?
If I put SB rear shocks on my 07 Superglide custom, will it lower the rear end and if so, by how much ?
Thanks,
Jeff

It will lower the rear by however shorter the new shocks are than the old. I don't have the specs here.

Stock Street Bob shocks are 12 inches and your bike has 12.6 inch ones stock. http://www.progressivesuspension.com...37&modelID=823

+1.... I have 12" progressive full covers on my FXDC. Dropped the seat height probably about 3/4".

actually due to the location of the shock mount compared to the axle, It will lower the rear more than the amount of the shock length difference.
the .6" difference will amount to almost an inch of difference in actual height between the two.
