I know i seen a post yesterday where someone from Australia had a HD download for his #06 with no 02
sensors, but for life of me can't find it today.
have searched others as well but no clear answer.
So,
does anyone know the part number for the download for 06 for models without the 02 sensor?
(with SE aircleaner, and slip-ons)

I cant believe the official HD website doesnt have for instance a menu with a list of options and numbers for this.....

That was I.

I can't tell you the part number right now, as I didn't get it from the dealer. I am almost certain it's the wrong one though because now I read the part name on the estimate it lists the part as "CART 1450 ST 1 LEGAL SOFTAIL'. DAMN I never noticed that before.

Tomorrow I'll run the diagnostics to find out what it is and I'll contact the dealer.

i#ve come accross the softail name confusion already myself on other parts. on some shared parts i#ve seen where they add the title softail instead of softail/dyna.

1450 Stage I Legal 34236-06/DT 8 SE A/C w/ Stock Exhaust
1450 Stage I Legal 34236-06/DT 25 SE A/C w/ Stock Exhaust
1450 Stage I Race 34401-06 8 SE A/C and SE Pro Slip Fit Mufflers
1450 Stage I Race 34391-06 25 SE A/C and SE Pro Performance Exhaust

Cause if they gave you a TOURING Flash, that is the wrong one.... Touring and FLSTSi are the only ones that share a flash.... Due to the commonality of the exhaust systems....

I think that they gave you the incorrect Flash...

When they fitted Stage 1 a/c and SEII's in the UK to my FXD '06 the dealer also fitted O2 sensors with the download.

My 2pence worth.

 

I had many troubles when I had the '06 dyna stage 1 legal download on my European bike (no O2 sensor)

Now I'm running the '06 softail download, the bike runs good and it seems that there are no problems

I have stock a/c and SEII slip ons but I'm going to put SE a/c

On my 06 dyna, (no 02 sensor in Australia) I have the softail RACE flash (34391-06), thanks to shovel head bob. With "torque muffs" and A/C only, the bike runs perfect...... hence sold TFI unit.

I ran the diagnostics and the code that came up was 32386-06 which according to this post download discussion thread , relates to part numbers 34236-06 or 34238-06.

Damn it's hard to work out what's what with this. My bike is backfiring and coughing on decel, and I am going to talk to a mechanic about what the hell is going on. I can't afford a SERT but am considering a PCIII. HAs anyone tried the Arlen Ness BIG SHOT ?

hmmmm, seems like uv convinced me to skip the download completly and go straight to pcIII or Sert. (hopefully SERT for me i reckon as i like to tweak myself)

afraid i cant help u on Arlen Ness BIG SHOT....hope some one else can....................

 

what kind of injectors do you have on your bike? 8deg or 25deg?!
