Question What gear at what MPH??

I am wondering what gear you guys are in when cruising at 30mph seems a wee bit high for 2nd and to low for 3rd cant tell since I have no tach, for that matter what gear should I be in for what MPH through all 6gears. Tried what the manual says but that seems like I am bogging it, damn I need a tach. On my quads and dirtbikes I could always just tell by exhaust note, vibration and such. Lot harder to tell on my always vibrating like hell dyna with V&H BR loud arsse exhaust. Sorry for the rook question but just heard a bagger go by and could tell he was bogging it so made me wonder about my own driving?

For me, I shift into 2nd at about 20-25 MPH. Shift into 3rd at about 40. Shift into 4th at 50. Shift into 5 at 60. And last, 6th gear at 70.

This works for me:
1st--0 to 25 mph
2nd--25 to 35 mph
3rd--35 to 45 mph
4th--45 to 55 mph
5th--55 to 70 mph

I shift at the higher speed going up and lower speed going down. Cruising at 30, I would be in 2nd.

I've never had a tach either.. just go by how the pipes sound. Its pretty easy to tell around where your at.. OR, maybe thats just cause I've hit the rev limiter to many times!? Hmm.. haha

+1 works for me too, sure would be nice to have that 6th gear for highway cruising
