Hi all
My buddy has an 09 lowrider and a powercommander 3....when we try to load a map it is in the wrong format....It is in pvm format and the software that came with the powercommander is djm format...any thoughts?

.pvm is a graphics file extension... try renaminng your files to a .djm extension, may work..

PVM is a Power Commander 5 map file it will not work in a PCIII. Go back to the site and double check but I believe I read a PCIII will not work on an 09 bike it must be the PC V. I have a 09 Super Glide and a PC V. All the maps come in .pvm format.

you should be able to change the extension as long as the file isint being used by another program... open any explorer window, like my documents, then go to the top and under tools fo to folder options...then to the view tab... in that options dialog box scroll down and uncheck the box that says " hide extensions for known file types" ... now you should be able to change the extension...

They are assuming if you have an 09 dyna that you have the pcV. choose 08 or 07 dyna. that will give you pcIII maps.
