Man, I went back and saw those photoshopped images. Thats awesome. It's an oil painting affect. I'm sure if you google oil painting photoshop or something like that, you're likely to find the filter that was used.

Your link is very much like what I did.. In fact I think I like your link better, I'm goin to try it.
The Photoshop effect I did was from 3 differant processess, however the main filter is from Topaz..
They got some great stuff.
