Just put mini apes off a street bob on my super glide two weeks ago. I love em. Feels alot better. Alot better riding position for me. The buckhorns were just too narrow and low. Hope you have good luck getting em back together.

Me too, I put a couple 3" risers on with my minis and it was way too tall. The bike handled so much worse that I wasn't enjoying the ride. When I took them off it felt better then broken in boots.

BluesRider, what carpet cleaner do you use, and how did you get the bike in without making a mess. If I tried that I'd be sleeping with the dog......again........!!!!

What I'm most curious about is how he keeps the white carpet so clean with the bike on it, no tire tracks either. Now THAT's a clean bike!

I would even go so far as to suggest you get a spare brass ferrule, if you drop one it vaporizes.

Looks great! I been thinking about mini apes on my LR. Wonder how it would look with my risers?

I've been wondering the same thing. I have an 06 LR and was thinking about putting mini apes on it, but i would like to keep my stock risers and dash. I was wondering how it looked and if it makes any difference in the handling /steering! Anyone done this?
