ATTN Rear strut hackers!
My buddy has an 07 street bob and just got his new 18" 200 rear tire. This weekend we are planning on installing that, cutting off the fender struts (just behind the shock) and installing a new solo spring seat. Also he hasnt decided if he wants to cut up the stock fender (something like boskens bike), buy a new flat fender or just run it fenderless for awhile. I am getting a grinder with a cutting wheel on it to cut the struts off. To the few out there have done this how did you go about it? ANy suggestions would be helpful! Thanks, Bam

WOW, Do not run a flat fender. Maybe it's just me but I don't think a $29.00 fender looks good on anything. This is what you need.

Trust me, it will look bad azz. It's got a cool rib down the center and a nice conture. Here ia a pic of my freinds triumph at a show with the same fender.
