808BOB, Did you get that bag?
I was looking and there is no room between my strut and fender.
Just wondering what you thought of it?

Yup, got the solo bag, love it. High quality, great customer service, super fast shipping to me out here in Hawaii. The solo is exactly what I was looking for in a bag...not to big, not too small, and blends in well with the lines of the bike. Installation was easy, just had to loosen a couple of screws to create space between the fender and the strut to slide the webbing thru then just tightened everything up.

Here are some pics.

Hope this helps you make a decision on the solo bag...good luck, ride safe

I love the looks of this bag! Any of those that have it, can you tell me if it would work with detachable sissybar?

Nice pics. I have an 09 Street Bob and will prob order one of these bags. Is a special tool required for the installation?

No special tools, just a #40 Torx bit to loosen the strut from the fender, that's it.

Shizims,

I'm pretty sure that the upright on the detachable side plate will interfer with the back strap of the bag.

All you need is a shoulder strap and it doubles as a purse....Go head

Does it just rest on the belt guard and how do you keep it from flopping around?
I like the look of the bag, but not sure of the one bag look. It seems it would throw off the balance of the bike, looks wise.
