I want to remove those cheapo fatbob tank emblems and add either CVO fat bob emblems or dyna custom emblems.Somehow or somewhere I heard you cant order CVO stuff unless your replacing Something on your CVO bike.Is that true or did I just get it wrong?

 

It depends on the part. Some stuff is protected but not every piece on the bike. I have 07 CVO bars on my SG.

 

If it is a "protected" part, they will want a vin number before they will ship it...a CVO VIN.

 

Wonder if you could go to a dealership and pull a VIN off of a CVO bike and give that to them...

Not that I recommend doing that, just seems sketchy.

 

Or just ask someone with a CVO to order them for you... and buy him/her a case of beer in exchange.

 

The CVO tank emblems are not "protected". I believe just the parts that have "CVO" on them are.

 

got a buddy with a CVO fatbob,If I can't order them ,he will.Gonna check on it at dealer tomorrow.

Not true, I ordered and installed on my bike Screamin Eagle Dyna gauges, Screamin Eagle Springer foot pegs, shifter peg, brake pedal, and Screamin Eagle Dyna front signal mounts.

You can order thru Chicago or Zanotti's Harley Davidson with a twenty percent discount. If you don't have the part numbers, you can call in and order or just email them what you want, they will give you the part numbers, then you can order on-line.

Some CVO parts you cant buy without a vin#. If you look in the parts book you can see some item request vin# verification. Im sure you can buy alot of the stuff over the counter.
