Default Kudos to SkullCandy

I purchased the Skullcandy Smokin Buds (after reading raving reviews on here) tonight after getting a "hand me down ipod" (wife upgraded to the itouch for mothers day) and I must say I am impressed. The buds haven't left my ears since we got home....great sound, great noise blocking, great fit, and inline volume control to boot....can't say enough about them. The Koss brand I used prior left my ears a hurting mess but these fit perfect. The sound is like it is in your head and not coming through your ears...unreal quality for $30.

Give credit where credit is due.....

I read that they were good too. Been to a few places around here to get some, and they were out of stock.

Yep I have a pair of them and they are great. They are also very inexpensive at around $19.99.

If you're gettin 'em for $20, get a couple (WHERE?). Most places charge 30-35. I've gone through a few pairs over the years ( I wear out the part where the wire comes outta the plug ) Still some of the best I have ever had, and I will buy again, but next I'm gonna try some noise-cancelling ones I think.

$21.99 at Best Buy http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218072202612

$14.95 on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Skullcandy-INK...1613640&sr=8-7

$19.95 straight from Skullcandy http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/inkd-p-126.html

I've had mine for almost 2 years i believe and the only thing that has wore out are the little rubber things that go in your ear.

I took it 1 step further and had the ear molds made so that I have a solid fit in my ears. Had them made so my Smokin Buds fit in them, what a great improvement, cuts down on wind even more and they never feel loose in my ears anymore. Both were great investments. The sound is even better with the better seal/fit.

Pig...those are the Inkd ones, the Smokin Buds are the same earpiece but have an inline volume control and are $30-$35 at most places. I really like having that seperate volume control....noticed last night that I could reach down and mute the volume quickly if I needed to.
