Did the touring seat move you backward or forward any? I have the stock seat on an 01 wide glide and I would like to keep the same height but go back a bit. The Tall Boy seat moves you back but it also raises you up about 2 inches.

I guess I could lower the bike 2 inches and put the tall boy seat on it. That probably would not cost too much.[sm=lol.gif]

 

The seat didn't seem to move me back at all. Although it is a bit "taller" than the stock seat, but probably an inch or less. Comfort wise though, it is a nice improvement, and the wife loves it!

 

Does the touring seat have the rider adjustable backrest? I have been considering the sundowner but it does look to wide, plus a rider back rest for the long rides would be nice. The HD literature shows a back rest but I don't know if it is an option or part of the seat. For 550 bucks I was hoping it came with.

 

Just got my sundowner today and it looks great and feels even better, check it out.

mine has the touring seat, which is almost identical to the sundowner. I love it!

Try the mustang daytripper. It looks good, follow the lines of the bike very well. Its a very comfortable seat for rider and passenger. Just a thought.
