Default fuel milage

What kind of fuel mileage do you guys get on your Dynas? I am getting 38 to 40 mpg on my '97.

I know mileage is not a concern for a lot of folks but I use changes in mileage as an indicator of possible problems.

Got an average 44 on a 4200-mi. roadtrip in September (best was 52 from the tankfull leaving Yellowstone). Loaded down pretty good (see pic), windshield, Stg-1.

I usually get just above 30 in town, but 36-38 on the highway.

Mid 30's around town. Steady state highway cruising at 65-75 mph the beast gets 48-55 mpg. Speeds above 80 mph and she drains the tank very quick, as in probably in the 20 some mpg range.

Piddler, looks like your numbers for your '97 match pretty close to what most are getting with EFI. It all depends on tune and attitude! I ride an '08 with stage 1 and PCIII. When I'm running through the gears aggressively (most of the time) I get in the low 30's, and in Geezer mode I get near 40MPG. I've never emptied a full tank on the highway so I don't know what my 'best' mileage is.
