I usually get 165 miles when the idiot light comes on,so 41 mpg,its less in the city like everyone else, but I try not to do too much city driving though its pretty close to 35 if I'm not cranking it all over the place! so avg. of 38.

Is it me or does this topic not come up at least once a week?

I wonder how many times I have replied to this question already? And I still consider myself new here........anyway, I am close to 300 lbs and I average 38-42 mpg depending on the winds. If I have to buck a lot of headwind then I get less but a nice tailwind has (on only one occasion) increased my mpg to 46.

Dammit Richinlc you gotta change that avatar. It takes me about 5 minutes to read one of your posts because my eyes keep wandering up!

I was getting 49 (road) and 45(city).. Then installed V&H,K&N fullflow,and HD S.E.R.T.
Now it gets 45 (Hiway) and 40(city).. But its well worth the milage loss...

2004 Dyna Super Glide, Vance & Hine pipes and Screaming Eagle air cleaner. I get about 42 mpg between highway and city riding.

Depending on how and where I ride, I get between about 25 to 35 miles to the gallon

Best I've done is 58mpg on highway going to Vegas. that trip I averaged 52mpg's.
Bike only had pipes a/c and a tune. Now i get 48-50mpg babying it on the
highway. But for the most part the way i ride 32mpg and sometimes less, but thats
what happens when you open them up.
