probly same number though, since they require the old one back.
I don't know and neither does the dealership. We're both assuming that they will number the new tank the same number as the one being replaced since it's all part of the Limited Edition.

***UPDATE***

Well, I received an email from the dealership regarding my tank. HD has acknowledged receiving my tank and have stated that they are going to REPAIR the tank instead of painting and shipping a new one. They claim that it will look as good as new. If so, this is good news because it'll bring the cost down quite a bit. They are also going to try to get on it right away...we'll see about that. I'll be home the 1st week of August and they damn well better have the bike ready by then! They initially stated 30 days and it's been more than that now damn it!
