I had the V&H straight shots on my Sportster with stock baffles and they sounded great and I think they also would also on a Dyna.

Will the V&H slip-ons affect the warranty? The dealer is pushing Bub exhaust and it's hard to get a straight answer from him. I like the way the slip-ons let you keep the origional swept back pipes instead of the rear pipe going forward first then back.

No. And if the dealer insists it does, tell him to look up 15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq. and that if he needs someone to explain that piece of federal law you'll be glad to get your lawyer to do it. I'll bet that will be the last you'll hear from your dealer about the warranty being affected by mufflers.

The dealer is pushing their stuff cause they want to make money. Maybe they're getting a kick back to sell bub exhaust. Either way the warranty wouldn't be affected any differently between the two. If there was a problem the dealer would have to prove that your exhaust caused the problem at hand in order to void that part of your warranty(edit: not sure about this in Canada). I'd say get them and do it yourself.

Whoops. I didn't notice that. The Magnuson Moss Act would not apply in Canada. Hopefully there are similar laws in Canada regarding warranties and consumer protection.

Get the BCT Thunder Monster Baffles for the V&H Slipons. The ear-splitting sound of the 1960s is wonderful.

They are nice. Easily as loud as my big radius (with baffles).
