Slip-on swill be cheaper. I don't believe you need a race tuner, thus not having to have it dyno tuned. I got a set of Rush slip-ons 15% off from my dealer - cost around $270 with tax.

I did the air cleaner & stage 1 download to boot.

If you're just looking for exhaust with no intake upgrade go with Hooker Trouble Makers. Buy em at hookerpipes.com/ 182.00. Are you carbed or efi? These are 700.00 pipes and sound fabulous....low and throaty. I had Python staggered's and Hooker puts em to shame. Look at my sig to see how they look. Geez

Soko
I have V&H straight shots on my 05 lowrider really nice pipe aprox (340.00)
had same pipe on 02 883 sportater also nice,
When dealer installed the pipes on my lowrider they missaligned the heatshield and
muffler on one of the pipes and would not make good on there mistake I called V&H
and they took care of the problem excluding shipping chrome on the pipes still looks awsome
V&H has great customer service, If I were to replace them I would try the V&H staggered short shots blacked out for a different look,
Oh I did the K&N air filter and power commander with download
all at same time with my Dyna
good luck
Carl

Default California exhaust issues

I'm wondering if any California riders know what's going to happen in California concerning emission and sound regulation in the future. We're in the tough state it seems. I have an 09 FXD and don't want to drop big bucks on exhaust that's not going to pass inspection, especially if it's soon. Anyone got any dates?
