Just an Update, after 500 miles i got sick of all the banging and clunking, and bought a $11 quart of Bel Rey Gear Savor and changed the trans fluid and it fixed the problem, it's nice and quiet now just like it was before.

ok..stupid question here.. is it ok to use the same fluid in all three holes..i would figure each set of components has its own specific needs as far as viscosity and additives..just wondering because im still using the moco syn3 stuff that had been installed at the dealer and am going to do my own 5k service this week..any suggestions on what fluid works best for you guys would be coo.. I live in the northeast (Rhode Island) if that helps. Thanks

Same fluid can be used in all 3, just pick a good synthetic MOTORCYCLE oil...amsoil, mobil 1 and syn 3 can be used to name a few.

this is what amsoil actually recommends for H-D. 20w50 in all 3 holes. I use 75-90 and smooth. will go to 20w50 someday once change is needed again.
