Qdog002, who makes the turn signal mount?
I'm seriously thinking of the Mustang Solo Vintage standard width seat. But I just want to be sure of a few things.
I have a 2007 FXDB. Right now I have a stock HD brand seat on it. With the stock seat it feels my hips to sit at funny angle. I have mini apes and forward controls. The seat makes me want to lean back and have a set of 6 bender pull back bars. If I try to sit upright, my hips don't feel quite right.
Is the mustang fairly flat for a bit in front of the butt stop or does it point uphill like the stock?
This may have been covered before. I don't remember if the stock was compared to the mustang. Compared to the stock seat, I think the Mustang sits you up a bit more, but then again I've read it lowers you, maybe they didn't have a stock seat. Fine. What about back. I actually wouldn't mind a bit more forward. But with the stock seat to get my hips comfy, I'm darn near sitting on the slope/butt stop more than the flat of the seat. The butt stop of the Mustang looks like it more straight up then the stock and will hold me a bit forward.
Nobody seems to stock this seat near me so I can't just see one in person.
Thank you!!
Tom

Yes it is Great Bike Gear for the plate relocation.
As for the seat, the MV does go up at the tongue but I have no complaints at all. It is the most comfortable seat I have ever owned. Your hip discomfort could have something to do with the rider's triangle based on your setup. I really can't say. I have further forward mids with Switchback bars and risers which works perfect for my triangle.

Qdog, thank you!
I think that I'm used to seats that are pretty much flat on my other bikes. My lower back/hip area are pretty much straight up. The stock HD seat makes me feel like I need to bend forward at my back/hips while my butt wants to sit in a leaned back position. Many, many moons ago I had a rigid Triumph that the seat followed the frame upward. I don't remember an issue back then.
Guess I'll have to try again to look at one locally, or just buy one and see how it does.
Thanks again!
