I have the Sundowner 2up, and the Mustang wide vintage solo. Great seats, very nice riding.... for as long as you want.

I use the bare bones around town no prob but when going long distance, the silhouette (gel) works just fine for me

I just bought a brand new Corbin Hollywood. Worse then the stock seat. My *** was beggin for mercy after a 350 mile ride last weekend.. It starts to get uncomfortable after 20 min...very hard seat

I'm curious about the HD Sundowner or Mustang solo's.

Thx
Intersting! I love my Corbin Hollywood Solo and find it to be one of the most comfortable seats I've ever owned. It is sculpted to fit the **** so I never feel any of the hardness you mention. 450 miles is the most I've put on it in one day and it was painless. Many like the Mustang Vintage Solo. I didn't like mine any better than the OEM seat on a previous bike. Wasn't comfortable for me and moved me up and forward. Everyone is different.

+1 on the Corbin Hollywood solo - I ride mine 300+ miles at least once a month and don't get sore - perhaps you could send it to Mean City and get new foam or a gel pad - those guys do great work, costs a lot less than a new seat and turn it around in one day.

Anyone have the C & C solo seat? I just order the squareback 2-up, but I hear the stock solos on the '09 bobs are pretty hard, so I'll probably replace it.

I don't know why anyone would buy a Corbin. They are hard as a rock. They try to tell me they "break in." BAHAHAHAHA. Ya, foam rubber break in...actually you just get used to it being hard.
