It's also nice dealing with a local dealer. I feel you have a little more 'pull' or at least relationship when you keep it local. If your local dealer sold you the bike, they would be more willing to accept all your quirks and issues you find with the bike and want fixed under warranty. Well worth a few extra bucks instead of taking it back where you bought it umteen zip codes away...

Go back to the dealer that offered you the amount in your first post and get the bike.

If you knew what most of us paid for our bikes when things were jumping you would jump on this deal in heartbeat! You can price shop all you want but if the dealer has a good reputation and takes care of you that is worth a bit. Sure better deals could be had but your deal sounds fair enough. I personally would work on that 6.9 interest rate.

Did you go to cyclebuy.com first and get the invoice price. You start dealing at 10% over that. they usually come back with MSRP. $1000.00 below MSRP is a decent deal. If you show them that you know what they paid for the machine from the MOCO they will deal. They would rather sell it to you for a lower price and get you as a loyal service and parts customer rather than loose you to another dealer. Was that free service the 1000 or 5000 mi. They should do the 1000 its cheap it's the 5000 mi that costs you.
