I had the same problem, it was a switch that the dealer fixed (in 20 minutes) that was covered under warranty. Never happened again.

 

don't even have a neutral light anymore. or turn signal indicators or oil pressure light. they were all mounted on the headlight visor thing that's sitting in a box now.

I've ridden motorcycles all my life, many of them off road that didn't have the light to tell me I'm in neutral. I figure I can find neutral without the green light easy enough
