Default Got ripped off lookin for an chrome outer cover

well my dumb A$$ wasted 75 bucks on a chrome primary for my super glide. The one that i was sent had a three hole derby cover and I need a 5-hole. Can anyone tell me the correct part number for a chrome outer primary cover for a 99 Super Glide? and maybe somewhere else to look. the good news is i got my chrome derby cover and it looks great. Thanks!

If I read the P&A catalog correctly the p/n is 60543-99B. The primary chain inspection cover with the shifter hole is 60529-90A and w/o the hole 60572-86. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I've done the same thing, once the person told me the part would fit my ride and then got it and it didn't. got the response, well I thought it would (no refund). And another time paid as much for a used item as it was new and when I got it I found out it wasn't the size I was looking for. You really got to look at the photos and ask questions. If it doesn't look right/sound right it aint.

The best part about buying the wrong part on ebay is that you can put it back on ebay and maybe make a profit. Or at least get most of your money back.

Exactly! There is always some idiot who will buy what you don't want.

I've only bought a few things on Ebay and for one reason or another didn't like some of them. I just put it back on and have always sold it for more than I bought it for. People are stupid! Most of them buy something online and don't even know what it is or how much it should cost. My last profit making item was a leather jacket. Bought in on Ebay and sold it on Ebay a week later for $100 more than what I paid. Fricken idiots, but I'll take their money.
