Default 2006 Street Bob not idling/wont run

Ok, like usual, I have a problem with my 2006 Street Bob. After replacing the fuel pump and getting everything running again, my bike seems to have encountered another issue. It's now not wanting to run at idle, and wide open throttle I can hear and feel the surging of the motor.

I've sprayed carb cleaner in the throttle body, I've replaced spark plugs, I've filled it with 93 octane, octane booster, and fuel treatment (thinking that due to the bad fuel issue I had before, there may be some residue in the fuel lines or cylinders).

After all of this, my bike will not idle at all, it starts and struggles to stay running. It pops out of the air cleaner and dies out.

I have SEII slip ons, a SE stage 1 a/c, and the rest is stock. Im trying to avoid taking this to the shop cuz we have a run on the 28th and Im sure I wont have my bike back by then.

Please, if anyone knows what is wrong with this thing, please let me know.

wish i could help, but thats what scares me about fuel injection i am 44 and have owned about twenty five scoots over the years all of them carberated with a standard screw driver i could dial in the mixture and increase the idle with a few quick turns

my 07 streetbob is the first injected bike i ever owned so i must admit i'm pretty clueless but there are very knowledgeable people on here that i'm sure will give you some good advice

TRY CLEANING YOUR IDLE AIR CONTROLLER (IAC). HAD THE SAME ISSUES... DONT KNOW IF I HAVE IT FIXED COMPLETELY YET.

what tuner do you have in there? if you are running a stage 1 and pipes you will need a tuner... it sounds like your injector plugs... make sure they are all plugged in (behind the throttle body) what type of codes is the bike throwing when you run a diagnostic on it?

How do I run a diagnostic on it? I have the HD Race Tuner but need to get a Serial to USB so I can use it with my laptop.

I sort of assume you have already tried this, but just in case: Unplug the Race Tuner, start the bike and let it run for a bit....see if it doesn't clear up.

If the tuner has moisture in it, or just went bad, that could be causing your ECU to hunt at WOT and do nothing at idle.

Don't know if you had it stored at all this past winter, but check your pipes to make sure something isn't living (or deed) in there.

I have heard of it, but not often, that ECU's can fry. Matter of fact, the one I heard of was an 06 SB.

Best of luck!!

you can get that at best buy! that is going to be KEY man... sounds like your tune is WAY ouT! +1 on the above! WD 40 in the pipes every winter cause of this!!!
to run a diagnostic to let the bike tell you what is wrong go here:

Oh and one more thing - if you have washed the bike recently, you may have gotten too much water in or around the throttle body...happened to me once. BUT, it should dry out after running it awhile....

Nope i have the same issue minus it dying on me i wont let it die...anyways i cleaned the throttle body and iac it worked for one ride and it did it again...it might very well be the fuel pump...

not sure how it could be the fuel pump as I JUST replaced it.

I got one diagnostic code of P0373 and one of B1131 I believe.. I need to recheck the last one.. P0373 for sure. Not sure what that means though (P0373 CKP Sensor Intermittent).
