Wood bike lift

I think this is the one you are talking about. I built mine and it works great. I even put my EGC on it. Works great to service bike and to wax it. The only change I made was I installed wider side pipes so I could install boards so I could ride the bike on and off. Plus I installed a wheel chock. link is stargis.net/webslinger/Docs/Motorcycle_Lift_assembly_Rev1K_030707.pdf Copy and paste it in your search engine and it will give you the entire plans. Hope this helps!

I made a lift based on these plans: http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/bikelift.htm It cost me around ten bucks for hardware; wood & carpet I already had.
I made a second hole through the other side so that I can unscrew the pipe after lifting and place it halfway through that hole so the lift won't rotate and fall forward or backward.
BTW, get the wood 4' long and the pipe 5' long.

well not what your looking for but.... when my hydrolic table got jacked i needed to build one... total cost $10 bucks...
went to the local walgreens... sweet talked the mgr and she gave me 5 milk crates... from there i went to dads house, i recently built him a trailer that would allow him to bring his Harley and his Jet ski to his summer get away in marco island... still had a 3/4 sheet of ply... i cut that to be 2.5 ft wide... with the excess i cut 2.5 sections... then i dug though his bolt collection till i found 10 bolts that matched (round lags) 10 washers, and 10 nuts... then i cut 5 strips from some extra wood we had laying around... now assembly... drilled 2 holes in each strip i cut, then mounted the milk crates to the smaller sections i cut... after i got all those done i simply bolted it all together at home... tossed one of the 15 wheel chucks i have (we take a ton of bike to FL ever year so i ahve a ton) added some mounting points for straps and BOOM.. i gots a table!
I have had baggers on it, several harleys, and even a goldwing... it will take the weight no problem! i use a cheap dirt bike ramp to get bikes on and off! works great!

Could this be the one you're looking for, made with 2x4s and 4x4s?
