Default Mustang Vintage VS Sundowner (Solo)

Guys,

I'm looking to get a new seat for my LR. I am comfortable with my forward controls using my stock seat, but am looking to purchase a solo seat that would keep my feet positioned the same as they would be on the stock seat. I am shorter, so I will need something that is low and close to the tank. What are your thoughts on the Mustang Vintage vs the HD Sundowner. Both solo seats. I would like some opinions from those that have experience with both if possible. Thanks

I think I saw your bike parked on the corner of Ridgedale and Fairview the other day, I would go with the Sundowner you need all the padding you can get for those visits..

Either the Mustang Vintage or the Sundowner will raise you up at least 1.5" over the stock Low Rider seat. Your best bet at staying at relatively the same height would be the Mustang Tripper solo.

I have both the sundowner (2up) and the mustang vintage wide solo.

I have noticed that the mustang sits me just a little bit lower... maybe 1/2 inch.

I called Mustang today and they told me that the Vintage would be a better seat for me. They said that the Tripper wouldn't keep me from sliding back on take off or when I hit the throttle. They had mentioned that the Vintage would provide more comfort and would hug me in the seat. Anyone got any pics of their Vintage they can post?

Default Mustang solo vintage

Heres a picture of my LOW RIDER with a Mustang vintage studded solo seat I just installed .
I also have the passenger pilon studded for the wife .
I havent had a chance to take a decent ride yet do to the crappy and cold weather up here ..
I have sat on it and I do agree it raises me up a little compared to my stock low rider seat ..
