I always fill my bike on the side stand to the lower inner lip without any fuel going out the vent line, even after bringing the bike back upright. You might want to remove your tank access cover, it has a metal vent line attached to it that may need to be bent a little higher and forward.

If your looking to take some long trips without refueling you can get creative like below.

Only time I have had fuel run out of my vent was this spring when I first took it of my jack where it had sat all winter. Last fall after putting it on the jack I filled it to the brim to eliminate air space. When I put it on the jiffy to fire it up gas poured out the vent!

Hey Dynarule, that's pretty cool! Does your top vent hose have a bend in it to prevent water or anything else getting in the tank?

?????? Thats not my bike, It was a quote. Wish it was though.
