Look into the Avon Venom. Much better performance tire than the stock Dunlop.

I have about 9K on mine and plenty of tread still left on it, so I think wear is based on riding style. If you have a HD dealer do the work there is a lot of work they do, following suggested installation instructions. So it will run you quite a bit of money. Follow the suggestions and have and indy do it. Much cheaper.

Oh, and that screaming eagle 180 tire is $259.95 now.. It has gone up in price quite a bit the last few months. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm going to run a 170 next when I buy my new tires.

Zanotti's parts look up page says $177.69 for the 180 Dunlop.

A lot of people have said good things about motorcycle superstore and Metzler 180s.

With the price increase and the wide tire kit, I think I'll save some cash and go with a 170........but I want the 180.....mmmmmm......170's are cheap on Ebay.

The Dunlop / Harley Davidson 180 is made specifically for the stock width (narrow) rim and is only available through Harley Davidson dealers because Dunlop only makes it for Harley Davidson. I don't think there is anything else out there that fits the stock width (narrow) rim yet.

Try shopping at Zanotti's or Chicago Harley for parts, and find yourself another dealer or independent shop if your not doing the work yourself. More info below:
