Default slip on exhaust

2009 dyna super glide custom do you need to recalibrate the engines computer to re-map the fuel injectors with slip on mufflers. If so does any one know the average cost of that.

Thanks

You wont have to do anything to the bike if you just change slip-ons.
If you do any modifaction to the air intake a re-map/retune will need to be done.

If you get a stage 1 map it's about $150.00
If you go with a race tuner the SERT will cost you about $450.00 along with 4-5 hours of labor on the dyno..
So that option will run about $800.00

If all you're changing is the slip-on mufflers, no other mods are required. If you put on a high flow air cleaner, such as the Screaming Eagle Stage 1 Air Cleaner (approx. $125) you'll also need to get some sort of fuel management. I have a 2007 FXDC and the Vance & Hines FuelPak (approx $275) works just fine.
