Apart from an inch in width for the rider.

I think that is about the only difference.
I have the touring seat on my Fat Bob for two-up riding.
Wife loves it, and we can ride for hours without issues.

The touring seat (and also probably the Sundowner) will raise you up a tad though, just because of the extra padding.

I am thinking about pulling the cover on my sundowner and trimming some foam from the rider section. I only put it on when the wife is with me. The seat makes me almost too short for the bike.

According to the P&A catalog the touring seat is available only to 06 and newer Dynas and and the sundowner is good for pre and post 06. Deminsions seem quite negligible. I have one my 02 Dyna and no complaints from me or the missus (that's important).

I think if she sees that post, you won't have to worry about it.

I think that the old saying "discrepancy is the better part of velour" definitely applies here.

I got the Sundowner and it's great. The Mrs. loves it, and I dig it for comfort too. OK--so it's not the coolest looking, but I can't see it under my not-fat **** either and it almost feels like having a low backrest.

how about a pillow look seat or a Mustang squareback. better looking than sundowner and should still be comfortable for her.
