other than that I think this bike is a killer!
If that's the case, buy a Night Train and slap a Fat Boy (or Fat Bob) front end on it...it sounds like you like the cast wheel look. You're jumping families with the Fat Bob which is a Dyna (always shocks exposed), vs. the Fat Boy which is a Softail (always shocks hidden).

Or get a Fat Boy and put a bobtail fender on it.

BTW, Softails come with a 200 tire...vs. the 180 on the Dyna Fat Bob.

Don't be shy about looking for a nice used bike. With your size and the fact that you don't really prefer the fat front tire, why not look into a Wide Glide ? I personally think that they are the roomiest and most comfortable Dyna. I'm 6'2", and 215lbs. The W.G. fits me absolutely perfect. If you look hard enough, I'm sure you can find a new , left over '08. If not, I know there are tons of used ones floating around. Here's a couple of pics of me on mine. I'm not riding in them, but maybe you can get a idea of how the bike relates to me size wise.

If the front is too fat and rear is too skinny, and you wish the rear suspension was hidden than you need a Softail Custum or Nightrain. Will cost a couple more thousand though. I'm 6'1 225 and just bought a Fat Bob. It is great!

Sounds like there is a lot you dont like about the bike. I would look for something else. The only thing I dont like about the bike is the seat and the exhaust and changed it to a solo seat with V&H short shots. Bike looks and souinds much better. I also looked at the rocker but couldnt justify the price and the fugly seat gap.

from all of the Harley bikes right now the fat bob is the best looking hands down, for my taste.
I gotta do a research if there is any way to put a bigger rear tire on it at list 200 or 210....
