Default exhaust pic...is this normal?

I just installed different baffles in my pipes and, long story short, I had to remove my pipes to do it. I installed the pipes and torqued things down to spec (60-80 in. lbs.) and was wondering if the space in the picture is normal?

that gap looks a little big, did you replace the exhaust seals?

If its the right torque its probably fine.

Yes. Don't worry about the gap, as long as you've got new crunch gaskets in there when you put the pipes back on, you're good to go.

yeah. and by crunch gaskets, I'm assuming you mean the silver ones? Put new ones in. As far as a leak, I'm not sure what to look for....How can you tell if you have an exhaust leak?

You'll hear it and it wont be running right.

If you start it up and it sounds good and seems to be running fine, then it is.
