I keep searching, so far unsuccessfully, for a Round AC for my 2009 Dyna Superglide Custom. The newer style sideways teardrop shape just doesn't do it for me....If I can't find an old style round Air Cleaner for the 09 I guess I'll just have to go with the SE Heavy Breather. Anyone found the round solution or is this just not possible?

Sure Harley has a smooth one and one with the Bar and Shield you will just need the SE backing plate.

Do some searches first, but i thought I read you can use the older se kit on the newer bikes.

I got an older one from a tc88 on my 07 fit fine.

 

Ditto on the SE backplate. Did it on mine.

 

Yeah, just get the round SE backplate, or a Big sucker.

 

Yep, older SE back plate and put whatever circle you want on there.

 

yup here is mine .........se and good to go

 

if you dont want to retune you can use a crossbones setup with a round chrome cover henry

Perfect example of why I like this forum and its readers so much. I knew there had to be a simple answer. No other Harley riders in this remote part of Idaho where I have lots of time to Tinker before riding season. The snow just keeps coming.
