Apparently no one took the time to look up the word "rhombus" before posting their reply.

It means angled parallel.

He wants a bag similar in shape to the Heritage or RK Custom.

Here ya go mcdaniel52761, this may be what your looking for.

Just wanted to add that I had Leather Pro's bags on my Sportster and will be putting them on my FXDL. They're spendy, worth every penny IMO. When they say the cam locks are like bolting them on to the bike, they freaking mean it-no rattle whatsoever.

Thank you. I do tend to get annoyed with folks when they provide an answer before they hear (or in this case, read) the question.

lol....no problem. Thanks for the link though....that is more in the direction of what I'm after. I'm surprised more companies don't make them like that.

I've never seen the kind of bags you're looking for because of the shocks...

Same here. There was a thread awhile back where a guy asked for opinions regarding two different bikes...immediately after posting he realized one of them was the wrong model, and notated the correction in his initial post.

Of course nobody read the post, just the title, and he wound up with a bunch of irrelevant comparisons.

Rant over...don't want to derail this thread...does anyone have those US bags? I'd like to see a rear view of them to see how far out they stick from the struts in order to clear the fender.

They're pricey, but Ironbags Iron Thunders for the Dyna don't have that pronounced rhombus shape and they mount in tight to the fender. I want some badly, but I'm having a hard time with the price. They are apparently about the finest quality you can get, though.
