Dyna owners who have installed big radius pipes

Here's the tool from JP Cycles. Any shortened T-27 torx bit will work. Some have cut down a torx bit to fit between the bracket and the frame. Others buy the tool. At $22 it's not terribly expensive, so I bought the tool. There are T-27 bolts all over the Dynas, so I figured I'd use the JP wrench again in the future, not just once on my exhaust bracket.
Haven't used it a second time yet....but it's in my tool collection nonetheless.

I just went through that friggin hell on Sunday. Got my BR lastweek and thought I'd get things ready when all my stuff comes in.
Got to that bracket and could get the inner bolt off with my torx bit.
The other's were another story.
The one in front I was able to plink it around using a hammer & center punch around the edge to drive it counter clockwise.
The other was a major bitch. It would not budge with that method.
After a number of times smashing my thumb, I got out the dremel tool with a sanding bit / mini drum and ground the head down. I was then able to knock it off and used pliers to turn it out.
Had to be careful with the sanding bit as there is a cable or line kinda close.
Good luck with yours.
Why oh why did they use buttonhead screws instead of hex. Sheesh!
