Thumbs down Very disappointed in Dyna 2008 with only 2500 miles

Ok, went to GoodGuys hot rod show on Sunday, rode back 50 miles, all good. Monday morning I go to office on my bike and still, all is good. I’m all prepared to go home( I cannot miss TopGear on BBC) and I thought I fill her up, so stop by the local Shell gas station, filled with 92 gas and NO START!!!! Pushed it out of the way and parked it, let her cool down and still NO START. I finally push it 1 mile to office parking lot and hopped on ride back home.
I have no idea what is wrong with it; the oil check RED light does not turn off at all!!!the oil seems to be in good level though. It has only 2500 miles on it now, first service was done at 1100 miles for shameless $450 at the dealer.
Honestly, I almost done with this damm bike, first off the dealer charges $110 per hour labor. Second the damm bike is more unreliable that my 1989 Jeep with 180K miles. I cannot believe that $18K bike with only 2500 miles can break down like this. It’s ridiculous…
I had to rant...ok I'm done
Now, any thoughts?

Should be under warranty still.

Why is the dealer trying to charge you $110 an hour?

thats the std rate at the dealers here( NorCal) I believe they charge 1 hour diagnostic fee (not sure if this might apply to my case)...Yup it's under one year so should be taken care of except towing. My confidence is running low.

My battery crapped out on me and the dealership towed it and recharged it at no cost to me.

You seem awful quick to trash HD but you don't say what steps you have taken to get it fixed, have you even contacted your dealer about your problem. There are some bad dealers out there but most of the dealers are more than willing to help you. The HD crowd tends to be repeat buyers and the dealers would like to see that second third or fourth bike bought from them as well. Talk to your dealer, let them work on it under warranty and see if you can get the problem resolved. No matter how much it cost it is a mechanical device and they will break on occasion. Good luck and let us know what happens.

How dumb will you feel when you realize you forgot to hit the "run" switch? :-D

there are a couple of things that can prevent the starting. most of them safety items, the bike is in gear and the clutch not pulled in, if the bike is in gear and your jiffy stand down even with the clutch in it will not start, it will crank and fire some times but it wont start, the Kill switch is off, I think there is also one on the Steering lock, hope you get it resolved soon,
