Chrome, Gloss Black or Flat Black Handlebars?
I have an 09 Street Bob and am blacking out certain parts, but trying not to go overboard, but ran into a dilemma and cannot make up my mind about my handlebars. I like the stock mini apes, but am on the fence as to wether to leave them chrome, have them powder coated in flat black (to match the denim black finish hand controls and mirrors), or to have them powder coated in gloss black (to match the frame, swingarm and strut covers). Any opinions or pics would be appreciated. Here are pics of my bike the way it is now (will have V&H Black Short Shots and wrinkle black transmission cover and crankcase cover put on this week).

Contrast, it's what causes things to get noticed. The contrast of chrome and black is absolutely one of the best examples of this.
If you black-out your whole ride then you will lose that element of contrast, and then nothing will POP...Not your black or your chrome.
I say keep them chrome, especially because you have the rest of the front end, ie: triple and forks in chrome/silver.
Just my 2 cents.
Cheers,
Tom
