Default Total SE Heavy Breather/SE Slip-on, Remap Charge?

I wanna do the SE Heavy Breather, SE Slip on exhaust, and need to know what all needs to be done with the remap or whatever it needs. Also, I know the SE Heavy Breather is about $299, the SE slip ons about $240, so what can I expect to pay to have all this bought, installed, dyno'ed or whatever, remap etc. in TOTAL? My bike is a 2007 SuperGlide, completely stock, and I really don't want to stick $1500 into getting this all done, since I can live with the bike the way it is. I'm thinking $8-900, any more and I think I'd skip it. I'm saving for a new bike, so I don't want to invest too much of my new bike dollars in this one.

If willing to do the work yourself you can come into your price range easy. If wanting to have a dealer do it them it will be close.

If you do it your self

Heavy breather from zanottis = $250
I will be selling my screaming Eagle slip-ons next week= $120
PC3 from Fuel Moto = $275 = $645

Or could get a stage one dealer download for $150-$200

From what i have been hearing and from what harley has started to leak is that starting in 2007 harley went to a closed loop system with 2 o2 sensors and that the bike itself can adjust for air intake and exhaust mods with no remapping needed.
Many will disagree some will agree.

It's not an investment. Your supposed to get money back from an investment.

My wife has a 07 883, they told me just doing the air cleaner and slipons would not make a big change to have to adjust. What I was going to do was put it all on myself, then take it to my indy. My indy has a dyno and for about 50 bucks he'll hook it up and tell you if its fine. If it is how much $$ will I save if not then he can do the download or what ever.

I wouldnt do both a Intake and exhaust without some sort of Fuel Management.

I ran just the SE slip-ons for most of last year and even though it may have adjusted some it still ran leaner than it did with the stock exhaust.

Looks like you have the set up I want...can I be real nosy and ask just what you had done to your bike and how much it cost you?

I did all the install myself.

SE slip-ons from Chicago Harley = around $220 forget exact
SE Heavy Breather from Zanottis = $250
PCV from Fuel Moto = $300

I have new exhaust on the way so like stated above I will be selling my SE Slip-ons that are like new.

If you are planning on selling/saving for a new bike, I wouldn't do anyhing. You won't get anything more for resale with these mods (or at best $100). Whatever you spend will likely be lost.

I suppose the cheapest way would be to get the parts off E Bay, or from Chicago or Zanottis (20% off).Slipons are very easy to find on EBay. Install yourself and get a stage 1 reflash. (A power comander of other tuner with a dyno will run $6-700 and up, the self tuning tuners seem to cost $6-800+).

With a little patience, $8-900 would easily cover it.

Many will disagree some will agree.
This is how my mechanic explained it to me:

Yes, 07 and up will theoretically adjust for intake and exhaust modifications as long as the o2 sensors are left intact.
However even if it works perfectly and adjusts the air fuel ratio to compensate, it will be adjusting it back to the equivalent of stock settings...meaning it will still be too lean just like stock is too lean.
