guys on my 08 street bob i have caddy shack drag pipes and recently installed the saddlebags but today i rode and noticed that the heat is gettin to the alumin saddle bags. was thinking bout takin the drag pipes and extend them out to the end of the bags. i have a friend that own a muffler shop so i know i can get the pipes welded and since i black em out and use heat shield i can weld behind the shield. do you think this will help with the heat on the bags look at the pic i have and let me know
