Default Yet another crash in front of me!

This is the 3rd time one of my buds crashes his bike in front of me! I don't know how much more I can take, Scares the hell outta me!!

Long story short, He was going to fast to make the corner, ran off the road into the stone shoulder and lost it.... He broke his back, Neck, Some ribs and his right arm in 3 places!

This is just a heads up! Be careful out there PLEASE!!!!

Peace, Naz

Hope your friend recovers quickly. Not to be second guessing but I wonder what those big a** apes contributed to the crash (I'm 100% a drag bar guy). Give him my best wishes...yea let's all take it easy out there.

Hope he comes through ok. You may not have any volunteers to ride with you much longer though.

That sucks man I hope he makes a full recovery.

I watched a guy go down a few weeks ago and its a scary sight. Luckily it was just at low speeds so just some bike damage and ego damage.

Ouch... sorry to hear that, praying he makes a speedy recovery!

When I took the MSF course, they said one of the main causes of motorcycle crashes were due to people losing control in cornering like that. When I take hard turns, I'll usually start off slow, and if I feel I have room to accelerate, I'll twist the throttle some more. Better to be safe then sorry, right?

Anyway, best of luck to your buddy man.

I was thinking the same thing..... but he was going to fast.... he was behind us and I guess he wanted to play a little bit and smoked by us like we were sitting still..... So really it has nothing to do with me or any of us, if he would have stayed behind us it wouldn't have happened!!

It don't look like that bike was set up for the twisties. I did that 30yrs ago on my kawi, my bike looked worse but I just busted some ribs, knees and elbows.

Well, I hope he heals up well, replaces those bars and pops the dent in the tank and gets back on and rides. The real tragedy is when people don't back on the horse.

There will be an uptick in accidents for the next month or so as riders start pulling their bikes from storage and start riding them hard with out getting back into the groove...

I stress that you have a friend that is getting back on after the winter to urge him to take it slow for a little.
