Default what should i pay otd for a 09 street bob?

i am thinking about a street bob and i am wondering what i should expect to pay for a 09 out the door,

here is my thought

bike=13000
tax (michigan tax)=780
frieght and prep and tag=1000

total=14780

is this about right?

In alot of areas you can get MSRP + tax and license. If cant find a dealer that doesnt charge the frieght and set-up alot of them only charge about half of it.

So I would look to do around 14k OTD with maybe some dealer cash as well.

Buddy just got a Rocker and payed MSRP + Tax/Lic + $300 set-up but got a $500 gift card and a $150 Helmet.

Got mine for $13,995 out the door, then I Just had to pay the 700 tax, title and license in the DMV and I honestly feel like I did NOT get a good deal... I think they would have came down had I not been to urgent.

At the very least I would get them to waive the dealer prep and shipping. The world is in recession. Some dealers insist in retail, which is certainly their option, others want to sell.

Depends on how much of a hurry you are in, willingness to call/shop around, how important a low price is, and whether you feel a need to buy from a particular dealer.

Used bike prices are poor as well. Have you thought of a low mileage 08 for example?
