Torx/allen wrench sets, tire plugs, screw driver, pliers, an adjustable metric wrench of the Crescent variety, tape and zip ties. Murphy's Law mandates that the day I forget to carry this stuff is the day I'll need it. So far I've bailed a bunch of my friends out but haven't personally needed the stuff yet.

I use a charged cell phone and friends with pickups.

Harley's these days don't have the same need for carrying tools that they used to.

Doesn't work well when you are far from home though...

Every time someone I've been with has broken down or crashed, it has been in an area where there is no cell phone reception...can't rely on that tool at all.

Here's the tool roll I got! I haven't had to use it yet, but it comes with everything you need. The flashlight in it is a POS and swapped it out with a mini mag, but it fits perfect in a tool bag. It's windzone tool roll and put in a standard harley fork bag and mounted it to the bottom of the frame!

Thanks Jaron - I just picked up one of those. The only thing I've ever needed was a wrench to tighten my ground cable to the battery. Happened twice on my sporty and not yet on my new Dyna.

Every time I've broken down I had tools, but needed parts I didn't have. So it seems you can't really count on tools either.
